Dr. Edwards lives in Nashville, TN. He received his B.S. in Microbiology from The University of Memphis in 1995. He then attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry where he was involved in research and student government for which he received the Dean’s Leadership Award upon receiving his D.D.S. in 2001. Dr Edwards has practiced General Dentistry in private practice since 2001 and established Tennessee Centers for Laser Dentistry (TNCLD) with a focus on Erbium:YAG and Nd:YAG lasers in 2007. He has been involved in training dentists how to use lasers since 2008. In 2023, he established the TNCLD Training Center where beginner and experienced dentists from all over North America have come to learn. Dr. Edwards has been involved in organized dentistry in many roles one of which was the primary instructor in the Nashville Dental Society’s Dental Assisting Certification course for many years for which he was awarded the Tennessee Dental Association’s Fellowship Award for Distinguished Service. Currently he is the chair of the Tennessee Dental Association’s Annual Session subcommittee on continuing education. Also of note, he is published in The Journal of Biochemistry and is on the Editorial Board of Implant Revolution.
